Holy crap is it Monday again? Wow. Last week’s post seems like it was a month ago. Since then, I haven’t been out on the bike at all (it was cold). I did do some spinning classes at work though. Let me tell you, while I hate spinning, the opportunity to do it at work, in an actual class and with full showers afterwards, is really nice. Sure I end up spending a bit more time at work, but right now I need the carved-out time. Because honestly, without it I would just be studying right now. The end of my first semester of grad school is rapidly approaching. 5 weeks left. I actually have a 1/2-semester class that only has 2 weeks left. It’s getting busy fast. Oy. The good news is, it’ll be done for a few weeks right when riding season kicks back in gear, so there’s that.
In any case, I’m not trying to complain – just explain. Because I have nothing to complain about. Instead, I want to bring y’all some inspiration on your Monday. Check out these awesome cats from the 2012 Para-cycling Track World Championships.

Instead of complaining about their lot in life, these men and women are out rocking it on the track; even with one leg they’re probably faster than I am. It’s truly humbling and inspiring. So instead of complaining about #firstworldproblems (of which I am certainly guilty), focus on what you can do and rock it.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to do my homework.
